There are restaurants and tavernas that sit along the beach front, they all offer an extensive range and variety of local cuisine and international menu's. most of these eateries have wonderful views along the beach and out to Souda bay.
There are spectacular sunsets to be seen in this part of Crete as the sun dips it spreads the last of it's rays in hues of reds and orange across the Souda Bay. The two beaches offer sun-loungers with parasols (for a small fee), boat trips are also available from the little harbour.
